In 2003, my husband, Shane Stevens and I were driven to start up DHMS. My vision was to give everyone, but particularly those with limited access, the chance at receiving quality dental care. Since that initial dream, we have molded DHMS into a successful holding company with several dental-related operating units. Under our leadership, DHMS has grown from a local dental services provider to an international provider of dental services for the American Military Forces. I currently serve as DHMS’ board chairman and also lead the marketing and branding efforts.

Earlier in my career, I learned to navigate state and local politics as a lobbyist. I also served in the governmental affairs department at the Texas Association of Business, a non-profit organization representing more than 140,000 Texas employers and 200 local chambers of commerce. I am also a proud and active member of the Austin Baptist Church, serving on the Personnel and Steering Committees.

Jen graduated with a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University in San Marcos.
